The Aware airspace warning device was developed with the full endorsement of NATS (National Air Traffic Services) to address the year on year increase in airspace infringements in the UK. Since launch in January 2010 the device has helped reduce infringements significantly, bucking a six year trend of increases.

Each Aware features a bright screen, full moving map display showing CAA ICAO 1:500,000 charts for the UK and can have its airspace database updated for FREE every 28 days on the AIRAC cycle. Units also come with suction mount, 12/24v power supply cable, 2 Gb SD card, USB cable (for update transfers between the Aware and a PC or laptop). VFR charting for other territories including France and Germany can be purchased separately and include free airspace updates.
