The Aware airspace warning device was first launched in 2009 in association with NATS (National Air Traffic Services). The intention was to provide pilots with a low cost GPS displaying official ICAO charts and with the ability to warn of possible airspace infringements.
The multi-award winning Aware went on to take the aviation world by storm and was credited with helping stem the rise in airspace infringements in the UK. In 2012 the NATS and Airbox team behind Aware were awarded the prestigious Honeywell Bendix Trophy for services to global aviation safety.
With a focus on innovation, safety and the highest levels of customer service, we're redefining the leading edge of navigation technology.

**NOTICE** We are aware there is a problem with Aware not starting on iOS 9, and a small number of users have experienced problems whilst running RunwayHD on iOS 9.
We are currently waiting for Apple to approve a new release of Aware, and we should have a new RunwayHD ready for review very soon – this has unfortunately been delayed a little by yet another iOS 9 update from Apple
